M Audio Fast Track C400 Driver Mac High Sierra Update. I recevied another email yesterday from the Logic X team and they said their developers are working on the M-Track Plus fix.I was a little scared that M-Audio may discountinue the M-Track Plus since Avid updated other drivers in their line a few days ago and nothing on the M-Audio side, so I hope the Logic X team fixes the issue. We will just have to wait. The Fast Track Pro and the M-Track Plus are different product lines, so the Avid drivers for the Fast Track Pro will not work with the M-Track Plus. The M-Track Plus usually does not need drivers for OS X and is why I suspect is not getting drivers. I tried with little success.Sometimes people get mixed up with which product line is what because the name has a 'Track' in it. I am not sure why some products stayed on the M-Audio side verses the Avid (or even Alesis), but Avid controls those things now since they own the two companies. The M-Track Plus is a differnet product line and the M-Audio's division still has it, so the Avid drivers will not work with it. The same was true for every new track I added that used the Fast Track as the input device.I tried everything: in Logic Pro X Preferences Audio Devices, I toggled between the built-in input and the Fast Track I restarted the software I unplugged and plugged in the Fast Track, and I restarted the system. Additionally, the button to enable recording was not present for the track. It had worked in every version of Garageband since version 3, as well as older versions of Logic Express and Logic Pro, so I assumed it would work out of the box with Logic Pro X.With it plugged in correctly, and my guitar connected to it, I added a new audio track to my project - ensuring the Fast Track was set as the input device, and input 2 was selected (input 1 is the XLR input on the device) - and enabled playback monitoring. I wanted to share this tip in case anyone else has the same issue I had.I attempted to use the Fast Track USB audio interface with Logic Pro X.

Hence we recommend you to download the drivers directly from the manufacturer's website, because thosewill be made available via Windows update only at a later date.If it still does not help and you have the Windows 7/8/8.1 drivers for the drivers, you may check if installing the drivers incompatibility mode helps to resolve the issue.Follow the steps to install the drivers in compatibility mode.1. The latest versions of these drivers are also available or download from the manufacturer’swebsite. So, the default drivers Microsoft provides are stripped down and a bit older, but they’re written by your device manufacturer and not Microsoft themselves. You may even get a driver CD containing drivers you can install on your computer.
Let me assist you further on this issue.By default, Windows contains generic drivers for many different types of hardware connected to your computer. If you buy a complete PC or laptop, it will come with the manufacturer’s drivers integrated.
